Are You in Tune With Your Spouse’s Passions?

When you become in tune with your spouse’s passions, you will learn so much about them and they will do the same with you. You have no idea the kind of connection that this can create between the two of you. This will bond you together on so many levels! It gives the both of you ways to enjoy each other through your spouse’s eyes! This is the window to each other’s souls because you get to experience what drives them and they with you too!
For several years Sandy and I wrote over 300 sets of song lyrics. It came natural to us especially to Sandy. During that time, it was so awesome and doing that together helped us grow even more.

Writing songs was always a passion for Sandy so years ago I decided to do it with her because thats how marriage works. You build passions together to create harmony in marriage.

Many people believe that passions are supposed to be an individual thing even if you are married but we disagree with that. The goal is to get deep into your spouses heart and soul and one of the best ways to do that is to build on each others passions together as a team.

You have no idea the intimacy that follows when you do that and who knows, their passion may become yours and yours may also become theirs. Its special moments that the two of you can share and very intimate.

We stopped writing several years ago when we shut down the country website we were running. Not sure why we stopped the writing but I think its time for Sandy and I to start doing some of that again.

As I scroll through the sets of lyrics we have written, over 300 of them, I am in awe what we created together in 1-2 years time. We were so on a roll.

Now I just need to learn to play the guitar so that we can start adding some music to some of them and also co-writing with some people so that they can help us add music to some of them too. We have a few songs that a few people have helped us with the music side but either way, this was an enjoyable experience.

I am co-founder of Inspired Marriage. I went through 19 years of addictions until God healed me Dec 26th, 2007. The first 5 years of our marriage was hell because of my addictions. With Sandy's patience, I was able to allow God to work in me and we have been growing spiritually together ever since! Oct 5th, 2023 was 21 years of marriage and it's been an inspired one!
